The drive from Parma to Westlake

For most of Parma, I-480 is the easy answer. Hop on near Ridge Road or State Road, head west until it meets I-90 in North Olmsted, then take I-90 a short way to the Crocker-Bassett exit. The suite is right in the Crocker Park area.

Clients from the southern end of town, near Pleasant Valley Road and the Tri-C Western Campus, sometimes prefer to drive west on local roads first, then pick up the highway. Use whatever route your phone likes best that day.

Because Westlake is a little farther than your neighborhood plaza, we recommend building the visit into a bigger outing. Lunch at Crocker Park, some shopping, or a stop at the Promenade can turn a nail appointment into a real afternoon off.

What makes a Brazilian manicure worth the trip

Danielle grew up in Brazilian beauty culture and moved to the United States in 2017. In Brazil the cuticle is the heart of the manicure, and that is where her work is different.

Rather than nudging the cuticle back, she removes dry skin from the whole nail bed. She then lays color just under the cuticle line, which keeps the base gap-free for roughly the first week as your nail grows. To finish, she paints slightly past the sides and wipes each edge clean with a cotton-tipped orange-wood stick dipped in remover. You leave with a line so clean it looks drawn with a ruler.

Every metal implement is sterilized to a medical-grade standard between clients.

Booking details

Booksy is open around the clock, and texting works too. Weekday evenings and weekends fill up first, so plan two to three weeks ahead for those. After-hours appointments are available by request for anyone whose work schedule does not line up with normal hours. Anything wedding-related should be on our calendar two to three months out.

We ask Parma clients to cancel at least a day ahead. Shorter notice may cost up to half the service price, and a no-show is billed at the full price. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean a shorter service or a reschedule, so give yourself a little extra time on I-480 at rush hour.
