Dry skin is removed across the entire nail bed rather than simply pushed back. Polish is placed slightly under the cuticle line, so you will not see a gap for about the first week of growth. Then every edge is cleaned back with a cotton-wrapped orange-wood stick dipped in remover, for a line that looks almost drawn on.

Every metal implement goes through medical-grade sterilization between clients. Products include Luminary Nail Systems Multi-Flex builder gel and premium gels and polishes.

Getting to the suite from Lakewood

Here is the easy part. Detroit Avenue runs west out of Lakewood, crosses the Rocky River valley, and becomes Detroit Road through Rocky River and into Westlake. The suite sits right on it at 30183 Detroit Road in the Crocker Park area. From Birdtown, downtown Lakewood or the Gold Coast, you can turn onto Detroit and stay on it the whole way.

If you prefer the highway, I-90 runs along the south side of Lakewood. Take it west to the Crocker-Bassett exit and you are in the neighborhood. Clients coming from Clifton Boulevard or the lakefront near Lakewood Park can head down to I-90 or cut over to Detroit, whichever is closer.

What to expect at your appointment

Book on Booksy or by text. Evenings and weekends fill first, so plan two to three weeks ahead. After-hours appointments are available. For weddings or events, reach out two to three months ahead.

Danielle will look at your nails, talk through shape, length and design, then start the Brazilian prep and finish with a careful clean-up. If you are bringing an inspiration photo, send it ahead by text so she can plan the time and colors.

Please give 24 hours notice to cancel. Cancellations under 24 hours may be charged up to 50 percent, no-shows are charged in full, and more than 15 minutes late may mean a shorter service or a reschedule.
