Getting here from Amherst

Amherst sits right along Route 2, which makes the trip east straightforward. Take Route 2 east and it will merge with I-90, carrying you through Sheffield and Avon into Westlake. Exit at Crocker-Bassett and you are minutes from the suite.

From neighborhoods south of town near Route 58 and the Ohio Turnpike, head north on 58 to pick up Route 2. Clients who prefer to avoid the highway sometimes cut over to Detroit Road and take it east, which is a pleasant, slower drive east through Sheffield and Avon.

How Danielle approaches a manicure

Danielle moved from Brazil to the United States in 2017. She grew up in Brazilian beauty culture, where a manicure is about precision at the cuticle more than anything else.

Her process starts with clearing dry skin off the entire nail bed, not just pushing it out of the way. She lays the color just under the cuticle line so the base stays gap-free for about the first week of growth. Then she paints a little past each side and cleans it back by hand with an orange-wood stick wrapped in cotton and soaked in remover. It takes patience, and the result is an edge that looks almost too neat to be painted by hand.

Metal tools are sterilized to medical-grade standards after each client. Danielle works with Luminary Nail Systems Multi-Flex builder gel along with premium gel and polish lines.

Suite visits book through Booksy or a quick text. Weeknight and Saturday times are the first to go, so give yourself two to three weeks. After-hours times are possible if you ask. Bridal and big-event bookings need two to three months of lead time.

Cancel at least a full day before your visit, please. Late cancellations may cost up to 50 percent, skipped visits are charged in full, and showing up over 15 minutes late can mean a shorter service or a new date.
