Where the Brazilian method meets Gel X

Most of what makes a Gel X set last happens before the first tip goes on. Danielle grew up in Brazilian beauty culture, and she preps the nail the Brazilian way: dry skin is removed across the entire nail bed, not just nudged back. A clean nail plate gives the gel something to grip, which is a big reason sets stay put instead of popping at the cuticle.

The finish gets the same attention. Color sits right at the cuticle line, and the edges are cleaned back with a cotton-wrapped orange-wood stick dipped in remover. On extensions, that crisp outline is what keeps them from looking like stick-ons.

Keeping Gel X looking good around Westlake
